With the same great styling that inspired Bartley’s master knifemaker to lovingly reproduce this chest from an antique his grandmother possessed for many years, we couldn't resist opening the top to create a new version of this popular woodworking kit - an elegant Desktop Display Case.
This wonderful starter project kit is easy to assemble. We include all the hardware and some supplies—drill bits, wood glue and sandpaper —leaving your requirements to some basic tools: band clamps, painter’s tape, a hammer, a screwdriver and, of course, a sanding block. We do, however, leave out the glass as we find it'll be less costly for you to get at your local hardware, arts & crafts, or framing store than for us to package and ship it to you. The glass size specifications are 13 11/16" X 7 9/16".
The inside of this chest is all wood, with the option of adding our velvet liner (sold separately).
The assembled size is 15 1/2″W x 9 3/4″D x 4 1/2″H, and it features a hinged lid.
