With a stable wood product backing (designed to prevent warping, such as MDF or other) and a thick quarter inch cork surface, this block is sized for the hand and is ideally prepared for a quarter sheet of quality sandpaper.
We ease the edges to go easy on the hands, and yet provide a solid, flat and firm face for your sanding surface!
For quality sandpaper like that we'd use ourselves, we have packages available at BayneBox.com as well. Sandpaper is not so expensive, so please do yourself a favor and avoid cheap sandpaper that will more easily tear, or quickly lose abrasion. The sandpaper we sell is the same sandpaper we use in our professional wood shop.
